Penny Crowder, CISR, CIC, CPRIA
Private Client Advisor
One of the best parts of my job is how I’m able to get to know people one-on-one and help them put together an insurance program to protect themselves and their assets.
Motivated to join the agency because of its solid reputation as a family-owned business, Penny started at Dawson Insurance in 2001. Prior to joining the Dawson team she worked as an insurance agent, beginning her career in the industry in 1985. In her current position, Penny specializes in personal lines and holds the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CPRIA (Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor) designations.
She’s active in the community through her involvement in Fargo West Rotary, serving as an RYLA chairperson. She’s also active at her church, Atonement Lutheran Church in Fargo, and is president of the Red River Youth for Christ program.
Additionally, Penny volunteers as a financial coach to help individuals and families. Her love for children has also made her a caring foster parent. Being part of this program for over eight years, Penny is passionate about and works to enhance the foster care system in North Dakota.
In the free time she does have, Penny likes to play piano and sing. She also likes to promote family-friendly films coming to the local area.
