Dan Armbrust, CIC, CPIA, CPCU, CRIS
Business Insurance Leader
The best part of my job is working with a great group of clients that value and appreciate the services we provide.
Active in the insurance industry since 1981, Dan merged his own agency with Dawson Insurance in 1989. The first registered agent with the CRIS designation in the state of North Dakota, he currently holds the CIC, (Certified Insurance Counselor), CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), and CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designations.
Dan participates in industry activities and leadership roles as well. He served on the board of directors of the North Dakota Professional Insurance Agents and is a past president of the Fargo-Moorhead Independent Insurance Agent Association. Additionally, he was awarded the PIA Agent of the Year award in 1989.
An equally active member of the overall community, Dan has served as president of the boards for the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties and Great West Exchange Club. He’s also served as a board member for the Red Cross Dakotas Region. Currently, he serves on the Fargo Civic Center Commission as well as the Finance Committee of the United Way of Cass-Clay, and as Board Member, Treasurer and Finance Committee Member for the Fargo Dome Authority.
When he isn’t busy with his professional or community activities, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, snowmobiling, golfing, hunting, motorcycling and cooking.
