Youthful Driver Seminar - 2007-12-03

Attention Parents of Teenagers,

Did you know that automobile accidents are the #1 killer of teenagers in America today? According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 1999 alone, nearly 8,200 teens were fatally injured in driving related accidents. In the last decade, over 68,000 teens have died in car crashes, and their fatality rate is four times higher than that of drivers aged 25-69. Cars and Kids, Inc. is a local non-profit company that can help reduce the likelihood of your teenager being involved in a serious automobile accident. Their mission is to help bring parents and teenagers together in a neutral learning environment to talk about today’s traffic safety issues. Area professionals will help families protect themselves legally and financially in the event of an accident or other moving violation. Featured speakers include: Dawson Insurance, Cahill Law Firm, and the ND Chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions. This program is free to the public and will be held on Monday, December 3rd from 6:30-9:00pm in the Dakota West Boardroom at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
