Interviewing for my position at Dawson, I felt a sense of community, family, and professionalism. I knew from that moment on that I wanted to be a part of the Dawson team.
With past experience at other insurance companies in the area, Dana started at Dawson Insurance in April 2014. Her previous positions included roles as a senior casualty adjuster and physical damage claim examiner.
Dana’s been part of multiple industry-related insurance leadership activities, including serving as a member of the American Family Optimizing Business Operations team, being a management system trainer for the Fargo American Family Insurance branch, and volunteering as a mentor for other casualty adjusters. She’s also been involved in the local community by serving as a committee member and officer for the Red River Valley Figure Skating Club and through her involvement as a worship band and committee member for Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard.
When she isn’t busy with work and other involvements, Dana likes spending time with her husband, Dean, and their two children, as well as with her two beagles (or as she calls them, her fur babies). She also enjoys knitting, reading, singing, and cheering on her favorite sports teams (which include the Vikings, Timberwolves, and local Moorhead Spuds).
