Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Karena joined the Dawson team in 2009 in the Commercial Lines department as an Account Manager.  In 2010, Karena became the Claims Manager here at Dawson.

Karena began her insurance career in 2001 with Farmers Insurance Group working in a multitude of positions and eventually moving into a Multi-Line Claims Adjuster position specializing in liability, coverage and customer care.  

Karena has years of education and experience in the insurance industry, keeping up on current laws and industry standards and is working to obain her CPCU designation.

Karena and her family live in Fargo.  In addition to spending time with her young son, Karena is an avid photographer and enjoys reading.
