Dan Armbrust, CIC, CPIA, CPCU, CRIS

Dan began his insurance career in 1981 and specializes in commercial insurance with an emphasis on the construction industry.  He currently holds the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Associate), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), and the CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designations.   In fact, Dan was the first registered agent with the CRIS designation in the state of North Dakota.

Dan has been active in the insurance industry having served on the Board of Directors of the North Dakota PIA (Professional Insurance Agents) and was awarded the PIA Agent of the Year award in 1989.  He has also been a board member of the North Dakota PIA and a past president of the Fargo-Moorhead Independent Insurance Agent Association.  Dan is currently a member of the Agent Advisory Council for the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund. 

Dan is also active within the community having been past president of the Fargo Moorhead YMCA and the Great West Exchange Club, as well as a past board member of the Minnkota Red Cross.  Currently, Dan is serving on the Fargo Civic Center Commission and the YMCA Marketing and Membership Committee.

In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.  He also enjoys snowmobiling, golf, hunting, motorcycling, and cooking.
