Joan joined the Dawson Insurance team in July of 2008 as an assistant in the administration department where her duties include that of receptionist.

Joan is a graduate of the University of Mary. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the North Dakota Air National Guard where she worked in Maintenance, Flight Operations, the Clinic and as the Administrative Assistant for the base commander.

Joan is active in the North Central Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and volunteers at the Self Sufficiency Center with the Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority.

Hobbies include reading, exercise, and ballroom dancing.
