Todd is originally from Grand Forks and he grew up in an insurance family. His father, Don Anderson, owned Thompson Insurance in Grand Forks which he sold in the late 1970’s.
Todd graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1980. Following graduation he worked with Crum and Forster in Freeport, Illinois and Appleton, Wisconsin as a multi-line underwriter and field underwriter. In 1985, Todd moved with his family to Fargo where he joined Great American as an Agency Operations Representative.
Todd joined the Dawson team in 1993. He specializes in designing risk management plans concentrating on larger retail, contracting, and manufacturing businesses. He currently holds the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations.
In his spare time Todd enjoys spending time with his wife, Laurie, golfing, pheasant and deer hunting. He is also a huge Fighting Sioux hockey fan and an avid YMCA member.
