Controller

Steve is a graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead and has over 18 years of accounting/finance experience.  In March of 2007, Steve joined the Dawson Team as Accounting Manager and in 2008 was promoted to Controller. 

Prior to joining Dawson, Steve worked in public accounting (Charles Bailly & Co.) for 6 years before moving into the private industry where he worked as an accounting manager for an ag/industrial electronics manufacturer, and most recently for Microsoft as a Senior Financial Analyst.  

Steve is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is a member of the North Dakota Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Steve enjoys spending time with his family & friends, watching all sports, and playing golf & volleyball - and you'll probably see him cheering on his Minnesota Gophers!
