Melissa is a proud graduate of North Dakota State University!

After college, Melissa worked as an assistant manager in a bridal store and then as a team leader at a local travel agency for several years.  In 2002, Melissa and her husband relocated to the Brainerd, MN area where she began her career in the insurance industry working as a customer service representative at agencies in Brainerd and Little Falls, focusing on personal lines insurance. 

Melissa, her husband and two young daughters were thrilled to move back “home” to Fargo in 2007 when she joined the Dawson Insurance team.  She is currently an Account Manager in our Select Business Department.

Melissa is a busy mother and a proud supporter of her husband who is on active duty in the Army National Guard in Iraq, and caretaker of one brittney spaniel named Sadie.  She is active in her church, and enjoys cooking and entertaining, photography, and scrapbooking.  Most of her time away from the office is spent at the park, playing dress up, and decorating pink cupcakes.
