Ryan is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry.  In 1995 Ryan began his insurance career with State Farm Insurance and spent eight years in a variety of capacities, including two years as a claims representative serving on the State Farm National Catastrophe Team, a Long-Term Care advocate for the West Central Region, and a State Farm agent in Sheldon, Iowa. Ryan and his family moved to Fargo in 2004 where Ryan worked as an agent with West Fargo Insurance Agency.  He began his career with Dawson Insurance in 2005 following the merger of West Fargo Insurance Agency and Dawson Insurance.

Ryan currently holds the AIC (Associate in Claims) and the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters) designations. 

Ryan specializes in commercial insurance with an emphasis in manufacturing and property management.   He is driven and determined when working with you to provide not only exceptional customer service but also to understand your business thoroughly in order to assist in reducing your risks and exposures.    

Ryan is also active within the community by assisting the United Way of Cass-Clay, North Dakota Special Olympics, and Fargo Kiwanis.  He also enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker Fan.
