Steve began his Insurance career in 1998 focusing on personal insurance working with Farmers Insurance Group and Nodak Mutual.   Wanting to further enhance his insurance knowledge and expertise, Steve joined Dawson Insurance in 2003 and specializes in business insurance with an emphasis on construction and manufacturing.  Steve holds the CIC (Certified Insurane Counselor) designation.

Steve, a Fargo native, graduated from MSUM with a Business Management Degree.  In the community, Steve has been active on the Campaign Cabinet for the United Way of Cass Clay since 2005, is on the Education Committee for the FM HBA (Home Builders Association), and is on the Special Events Committee for TSMA (Tri-State Manufacturers Association).  He is also a member of the Knights or Columbus, Fargo Kiwanis, and El Zagal Shrine.

In his free time, Steve coaches youth hockey, soccer, and football.  He enjoys spending his summer time with his wife and two boys at the lake or on the golf course and his winter time at the ice arena.
