Roger Peterson, CIC

Roger graduated from North Dakota State University in 1971 with a degree in Ag Economics.  After graduation he served Our Country on an Aircraft Carrier for two years with the US Navy Reserve.   

In 1974, Roger began his insurance career with Farmers Insurance Group.  He also worked eleven years with Nodak Mutual Insurance were he received the Agent of the Year award in 1993.  Roger worked for Halvorson Insurance and Investments for six years prior to the 2003 merger of the Halvorson agency with Dawson Insurance.    

Roger specializes in designing risk management plans concentrating on farm, contracting, and business accounts.  

Roger is currently the Commander for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local Post 762 in Fargo.  Along with enjoying his family and church, he likes to garden, play cards, golf (past President, previous Sportsman of the Year, and twice Senior Champion of the Edgewood Men’s Club) and even finds time for a little fishing.
